Our brain is a conglomerate of a titanic sized
network of neurons and hundreds of millions of cells. Neurons have the ability
to transmit electric and chemical signals to other neurons. Each of those neurons is capable of
connecting to tens of thousands of other neurons. It is not a problem of “room”
or “age”. Our brain is capable to do anything we want, anytime! An important
concept to consider is that neurons never stop connecting and disconnecting
from one another. That is how our brain and memory works. These connections
between neurons can be more or less strong, and there can be more or less of
them. That is why our brain works so well when remembering by association. However,
you must know that connections between neurons weaken if they are not regularly
used. That is why we say that if you do not use your brain, it goes to waste. That
also explains why when we learn a new language, but we do not review it right
away, we forget it. If the neural connections used to stock the language are
not used, they will weaken and eventually disappear.
So, what should we do to learn a new language?
